Name: Madeline C. Cudworth Dates: Birth date: December 30, 1923 Death date: February 19, 2010 Obituary: MADELINE C. CUDWORTH, age 86, of the Town of Greenbush, passed away peacefully and went to be with her Lord, Friday morning, Feb 19, 2010, at Rocky Knoll Health Care Facility, where she has been a resident the past two years. She was born Dec 30, 1923, in Sheboygan a daughter of the late Arthur and Emma (Kreigelstein) Kautzer. She attended Holy Name Catholic School in Sheboygan, On Sept 7, 1940, she married Walter C. Cudworth. They operated a farm in the Town of Greenbush until her husbands death June 25, 1964. She continued to live in the Town of Greenbush and had been employed as a bookkeeper at Ralston Purina in Fond du Lac. She later was employed at Rocky Knoll until her retirement. Madeline had been a member of St. Fridolin Catholic Church in Glenbeulah and is now a member of St. John The Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth. Madeline’s family was the center of her life. She enjoyed cooking and baking, working in her flower gardens and enjoyed crafts specializing in floral arrangements. Survivors include one son James (Diane) of Greenbush and one daughter Marilyn (Jerry) Anderson of Kiel WI; seven grandchildren, Scott (Nicole) Cudworth, Tracey (Wayne) Crites, Sulie (Warren) Schneider, Jeannine (Gary) Kreis, Robert (his fiancée Trish) Enders, David (Joanne) Enders and sixteen great grandchildren; two sisters Elaine Maslakow of Mukwonago, Donna (Herbert) Lass of Oak Creek WI, one brother Kenneth (Lynn) Kautzer of Heller TX. She was preceded in death by and infant son Walter, one sister Doris Gustafson, Following cremation, a mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday Feb 22, 7:00PM at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth. The Very Rev Dennis Van Beek will be the celebrant. Friends may call at the Church on Monday from 4:00PM until the hour of service. Inurnment will take place in St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery in the Town of Greenbush. A memorial fund will be established in Madeline’s name. The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the entire staff at Rocky Knoll for their loving care and the Staff of Aurora VNA Hospice and Memorial Hospital for the care given to Madeline and her family.
