Obituary:
Paul C. Rosenthal “8th Street”, age 61, of Glenbeulah went home to be with his Lord on Thursday, July 19, 2012 at St. Nicholas Hospital, after injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in the Town of Plymouth.
He was born on June 7, 1951, son of the late Edward Rosenthal and Corabelle (Leynse) Rosenthal.
He attended a one room school house in rural Plymouth and graduated from Plymouth High School in 1969. He furthered his education in technical school receiving an Associate’s degree in machining. He was employed at Kohler Generator for over 41 years.
On June 30, 2012 he married the love of his life, Jan Jensen, in St. Cloud.
He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Glenbeulah, where he received Christian baptism on July 15, 1951 and was confirmed on May 2, 1965. He was a member of the Rite ‘O’ Ways Motorcycle Club, and the UAW Local 833. In his free time he enjoyed riding his motorcycle, gardening and canning his bounty with his beloved wife. He loved working and playing Santa Claus at Fudgienuckles. Paul loved his grandchildren and was known for spoiling them with candy and lots love. He will always be remembered for his infectious laugh and smile that lit up a room.
He is survived by his wife Jan, two children, Adam Rosenthal and Korin Rosenthal, all of Glenbeulah, 15 grandchildren, his mother Corabelle, 5 step children, Troy, Jesse, Natalie, Chet, and Misty Gocha, three brothers Robert Rosenthal, Eugene (Nancy) Rosenthal, Mark (Wendy) Rosenthal and two nephews, Derrick and Justin.
He was preceded in death by his father and a step son, Kyle Gocha.
Funeral services will be held at 4 PM on Sunday, July 22, 2012, at Zion Lutheran Church in Glenbeulah with Rev. Donald Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenbush Cemetery. Friends may call at the church in Glenbeulah from 1 PM until the time of service.
