Obituaries

Hubert E. Blanke, age 89, of Plymouth went home to be with his Lord on Thursday, July 5, 2012 at Aurora Sheboygan Medical Center with his family at his side.
He was born in Plymouth on June 2, 1923 son of the late Oliver and Emma (Meyer) Blanke.
Hubert attended Acorn Grade School and graduated from Plymouth High School.
On June 16, 1946 he married Evelyn Feldman at Saron United Church of Christ in the Town of Sheboygan Falls. The couple made their living on the family dairy farm for 33 years, but Hubert had many various jobs through out his working career including; Clev-Pak Lakeshire Marty, Plymouth Cold Storage, he was a self employed livestock trucker and worked for Blanke and Nigh Roofing.
Hubert was a member of Salem Plank Road United Church of Christ where he served on the consistory and was an usher.
He is survived by his loving wife Evelyn, four children Carol (Conrad) Knuth, Wayne (Annette) Blanke, Susan (Charles) Roy, Stuart (Kathy) Blanke, thirteen grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and a sister LaVerne Czarniak.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers Willard and Ervin.
Funeral services will be held at 7 PM on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at the Schneider Funeral Home in Plymouth with the Rev. Cheryl Lepak officiating. Burial will take place on Wednesday morning in the Salem Plank Road Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4 PM until the time of service.
