Obituary:
MYRTLE E. TITEL, age 97 of the Town of Sherman, passed away Friday evening, June 29,2012 Gables of Waldo, where she had been a resident the past five years.
She was born December 21, 1914 in the Town of Sherman, a daughter of the late Philip and Agnes (Eisentraut) Haag. She attended the LaFollette School.
On September 4, 1937 she married Henry W. Titel. The couple lived and farmed in the Town of Sherman.
She had been a member of the churches in Batavia, Hingham and Cascade and is a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Waldo and had been the church organist as well a member of the United Methodist Women.
Myrtle had been a member of the Lyndon Grange #713, Adell Homemakers and the Adell Senior Citizens Center. She was also a school bus driver for many years.
Her husband preceded her in death July 12, 1991.
Myrtle will be remembered for her passions of Music and many formats of artistic painting, and also enjoyed baking and cooking and crocheting.
Survivors include five sons, Lloyd and Arlee (Sharon), both of Chilton, Steven (Kelly) of Pine City MN, Todd ( Eugenia) of the Town of Mitchell and Dale (Sue) of Sheboygan, two daughters, Joy(Bill) Roenitz of Poplar WI and Angela (Gary) Gibson of Eldorado Hills CA; twenty three grandchildren, Duanne (Stuart) Mednick, Debbie (Jeffrey) Buechel, Denise Meiselwitz, Dina (Jim) Fritsch, Dawn (Gerald) Malec, Patti (Steve) Jennings, Michelle Roenitz-Sigfrids, Jason Titel, Kelly Galler (fiancée Tim), Sara (Bradley) Laux, Scott Titel, Tera (Dan) Nelson, Danielle (Luke) Hegge, Luke, (Robyn) Titel, Alecia (James) Christiansen, Deirdre Titel, Leandra Titel, Quinn Titel, Shawn (Sythone) Titel, Kurt Titel, Adam (Kimberly) Titel, Jordan Hood and Chelsea Hood and numerous great and great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her siblings Philip, Agnes, Cynthia, Gladys, and half-sister, Verona Hill .
Funeral services will be held Friday July 6, 11:00 AM, at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Waldo. The Rev. Renea Dymond, pastor of the Church will officiate. Burial will be in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in the Town of Sherman.
Friends may call at the Schneider Funeral Home in Plymouth on Thursday from 4:00-7:00PM and on Friday at the Church in Waldo from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
