Obituary:JOHN E. KRUPP, age 87, of 532 Pleasantview Rd. Plymouth, passed away peacefully early Monday morning, June 11, 2012, at Rocky Knoll Health Care Facility, where he has been a resident for almost four years. He was born February 1, 1925 in St. Anna, a son of the late Richard and Louise (Schmitz) Krupp. He attended school in St. Anna and Kiel.
He was a mechanic by trade and had been employed H.A. Meyer Implements.
On February 18, 1950 he married to Luella Simonsmeier. He then went to work for Simonsmeier Implements. His wife passed away in 1972. He married Patricia Warner Kramer August 1, 1975. John then purchased Simonsmeiers, which he operated until retiring. In retirement John worked for Miller and Boeldt Implements as a salesman.
John was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Plymouth. John had been a member of the Plymouth Lions Club for 24 years and had served as it’s President.
John will be remembered for his willingness to help out any farmer at a moments notice, to keep them up and running. John also enjoyed working in his gardens and simply spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife Pat, three children , Jim (Pat) Krupp and Kevin (Sheri) Krupp Ekhart Lake, Kathie (Tim) Tiebert of Beach Grove IN; two step sons, Kim Kramer (his friend Yolanda) of Las Vegas and Gary (Susie) Kramer of Plymouth and Wendy (Mike) Beyer of Sheboygan; five grandchildren, Jerrod (Shannon) Krupp, Heidi (Luke) Sander, Jennifer Tiebert and Brian Tiebert, Samantha Krupp, five step grandchildren, Jennifer Kramer and Heidi (Todd) Rautmann, Nick (Kelly) Kramer , Courtney (Greg ) Wieser and Chris Wifler and his friend Tiffany; four great grandchildren and seven step great grandchildren; one brother Richard Krupp and his friend Mary of Milwaukee.
He was preceded in death by twin infant sons, Jeffrey and John , two brothers, Donald and William.
Funeral services will be held Thursday evening, June 14, 7:00 PM at the Schneider Funeral Home in Plymouth. The Rev. Thomas Burton, will officiate. Burial will be in the Plymouth Woodlawn Cemetery.
Friends my call at the Schneider Funeral Home from 4:00 PM Thursday until the time of service. A memorial fund will be established in John’s name.
The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to Dr. George Schroeder and the staff of both Woodland Village and First floor west at Rocky Knoll, for the special loving care given to John the past four years.
